The Yemeni government signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese energy and electrical equipment company (TBEA Co., lTD) today in the Chinese province of Xinjiang.

The memorandum of understanding, signed by the Yemeni ambassador to China, Dr. Mohammed Al-Maitami, in the presence of the company’s chairman and member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Zhang Xin, stipulates the revival, renewal, and development of Yemeni-Chinese relations in the fields of traditional and renewable energy and electrical equipment, and in various fields within the scope and specialization of the company.

Ambassador Al-Maitami praised the Chinese company’s determination and support for Yemen through the implementation of programs in the fields that Yemen urgently needs. He expressed his hope that this agreement will contribute to strengthening and developing industrial relations for the benefit of both countries.

Zhang Xin affirmed his strong support for the company’s contribution to Yemen’s reconstruction programs and facilitating Yemen’s access to institutions in China to obtain aid and soft loans. He expressed the company’s readiness to send a technical team to Yemen to train Yemeni cadres on energy and electrical equipment technology and to receive them at the company’s headquarters in various Chinese cities.

It is noteworthy that the Chinese energy and electrical equipment company is one of the four largest industrial companies in China in the field of energy, and is considered a leading company in energy technology and electrical equipment, where its total output for the past year reached 35.7 billion dollars and operates in about 39 countries around the world.
